Second Corinthians chapter five, verse seventeen of the Bible says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, NEW THINGS have come.”
•What is our goal?
Our purpose is to share the message of this divine exchange with people living in less than adequate conditions due to poverty.
•How will we share this message?
Our means will be through providing access to clean water, food, clothing, shoes, school uniforms, educational materials, dental and medical supplies, and other new things needed to thrive.
Why Ethiopia?
We witnessed firsthand the immense need here when visiting our children's birth village in Wolaita, Ethiopia. Find the tab, "Our Story", to read more details.
•Why does it matter?
Our hope is that these tangible new things, given through the love of God and the message of the gospel, will transfer to an understanding of the divine exchange spoken of in 2 Corinthians. It is an exchange of old things like sinful habits, broken relationships, mistakes, and bitterness, for NEW THINGS like forgiveness, grace, love, joy, and peace.
”God made Him (Jesus Christ) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
